Ever since Five Guys opened in Hoboken we admit to spending a little more time there - and new and random chains are on the rise in town with the openings underway of a Cluck U Chicken at 112 Washington and So Green Yogurt at 529 Washington, but the biggest news in town is you can now make a reservation at the W Hotel Hoboken as Starwood, opening the Westin Jersey City Newport to guests on February 15th, finally has their shit together for 2009. While the W "opens" on February 26th, you can't book a room before April 21st. Opening date prices vary from $319 for a Cozy Room with a view of Hoboken to $519 for a Fantastic Suite with a balcony overlooking the NYC skyline. On the downside that's just $4 less than spending a night in a newly renovated room at the W Times Square. However by an April opening, Hoboken should have one more thing going for it. We recently noticed the site Newport Loves Hoboken, quietly promoting the construction of a new pedestrian walkway connecting the two.
