Following the closure of Ox, not all news is good news on the Jersey City dining front.
On Washington Street, signs have come down for Cobblestone which we reported back in December was soon to open a 3700 square foot all-day restaurant inside the A Building. Work had been slow to non-existent for the past few months and the only thing signaling its arrival was a small sheet of paper hanging in the window. That's since been replaced by Retail Space For Lease signs.
Just down the block, Musclemaker Grill which was supposed to open this month remains papered over as it has been for months now. The real action is next door as WiredJC brings word Fatburger is due for a makeover. The Five Guys website confirms they're taking over the space.
